Lone Star Quilt

When you're from Texas, nothing says home like a Lone Star quilt.  This one uses fabrics from my Mushroom Grove collection.

Curiosity was inspired by the Ruby Star Society Curio fabric collection.  Click the button below for a free copy of the Curiosity quilt pattern!

Floria Quilt

I created Floria using curved template pieces.  It's a great pattern to showcase the color and design of a fabric collection.

This is another version of the Floria quilt, inspired by the desert colors in Big Bend National Park.

Trinkets Quilt

The Trinkets Quilt consists of only 9 blocks and is made entirely of half square triangles... it's a deceptively simple make!

The Beverly Quilt

My inspiration for this design is the poolside mural in the Avalon Hotel in Beverly Hills, which used to be the iconic Beverly Carlton Hotel, home to Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, and Desi Arnaz to name a few. Depending on the fabric I use, this quilt takes on mid mod, graphic, or geometric vibes.

Driven Quilt

My husband is a huge auto racing fan.  I created this quilt, using the colors of his favorite team, so he could watch the races in snuggly comfort on the sofa. I created the design using traditional quilt blocks and units like flying geese, bear claw, half square triangles, and pinwheels, but in a modern layout to create movement within the design.
